Dear Friends of Blasé Splee,

We are no longer a band. No bad blood or Behind the Music moments, just no longer a band. Thank you to everyone that ever came to a show, bought something we made, booked us for a show, accepted a free sampler at a Blowout, helped us animate a video or just posted a comment on our Facebook. There was a lot of people who helped us out despite that we weren’t part of their click or scene and we thank you.

I’m sure all of us will continue to make music in one form or another so the Facebook will stay up in case any one wants to know what else we’re up to. Also, the blasesplee.com web site has a couple months of hosting already paid for so if you haven’t downloaded our free discography yet…time is of the essence.

A new song of Mike’s, tentatively titled “Every Now and Then.” Recorded live in our practice space, 04.17.10.  I believe this was our first or second run-through.

Something of Carl’s we started working on last Saturday, 05.22.10 which sounds absolutely nothing like what Carl brought to the table. Tommy couldn’t make it so Mike played drums. First run-through.

last Friday we ended up playing the Magic Stick at 9pm and Sparklewood at midnight. Chelsea Frelick tested out her newfangled photo machine throughout the evening.

Carl, Mike and I did about twelve songs together, and once we finished we still had time left so Carl did five or six more by himself. Thank you Pedro for putting this little thing together.
